Raptool AI Blocks

Ready-made parts.
Not code from scratch.

A Raptool AI Block is a finished, tested part that does one job, like sign-in, barcode scanning or sending an SMS. You add it to your app and Raptool AI connects it to your screens and data, instead of writing that part again from the beginning.

One job per block

Each block does one thing well. Your app gets exactly the blocks it needs and nothing more.

The same block in every app

A block has one master copy. Every app that uses it works the same way, and an improvement can reach all of them.

Made for real devices

Blocks for scanning, printing and location use the device hardware through the Raptool Client, online and offline.

How it works

From one sentence
to a working app.

You can drag the blocks in yourself, or let Raptool AI pick them for you. The Block Builder above shows the whole flow.

Describe your app

Tell Raptool AI what you need, for example "a dog walking app". You get a first draft of the app right away.

The Design Skill goes in first

The Design Skill turns the draft into a finished design, so every screen has the same look.

Add the blocks it needs

GPS, maps, sign-in, database, SMS: each block lands in the app and is connected to your data. Blocks the app doesn't need are left out.

Deploy

Raptool Hosting runs the app and its database. The app installs on Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows and Mac, and the data stays in sync.

Why blocks

Faster to build.
Safer to run.

Faster builds, fewer tokens

The AI connects a block instead of writing it, so a new app is ready sooner and uses fewer AI tokens.

Tested parts

Sign-in, scanning and printing are the parts that most often go wrong. Blocks are built and tested once, then reused.

Zero lines of code

You don't write code to add a block. Coders can still open the source and drill down when they want to.

Secure sign-in built in

People sign in with their Raptool Account and two-factor codes. Apps don't keep their own passwords.

A real database

Your data goes into proper MySQL tables with real columns and keys, ready for reports and integrations.

Every platform

The same app runs on Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows and Mac, with one server keeping the data in sync.

The blocks

What each block does
and why it helps.

Here are the blocks you can add today, grouped by what they do.

Design and building

The look of your app and how you change it

Design Skill

The first block in every app. It turns the AI's first draft into a finished, consistent design.

How it works
It applies one design style (colours, fonts and components) to every screen of the app.
Advantage
A professional look without styling each screen by hand.

Design Style Studio

Pick a ready style or make your own, with your brand colours and fonts.

How it works
You choose the style once and the Design Skill uses it in every app you build.
Advantage
All your apps look like they belong together.

Thousands of templates

Start from a ready app or screen instead of a blank page.

How it works
Pick the template closest to what you need and let Raptool AI adapt it.
Advantage
You start from something that already works.

Drag-and-drop app adjustments

Change screens, fields and buttons yourself after the AI has built the app.

How it works
Open the app in Raptool Designer and drag things where you want them.
Advantage
Small changes don't need a developer or a new AI round.

Data and security

Where the data lives and who gets in

Database setup

Creates the app's database the right way from the start.

How it works
The tables are made in MySQL with real columns and keys, not text dumped in one field.
Advantage
The app keeps working as your data grows, and reports and integrations are easy.
Why the structure matters →

Login management with 2FA

Secure sign-in with two-factor codes, users and roles.

How it works
People sign in with their Raptool Account. Access, roles and licences are managed in Raptool Hub.
Advantage
One login for all your Raptool apps, and no passwords stored in the app itself.

Hardware and location

Scanners, printers and where things are

Barcode reader module

Scan barcodes and QR codes in any screen of the app.

How it works
The Raptool Client gives the app access to the device's scanner or camera, online and offline.
Advantage
Works the same on rugged scanners from Zebra, Honeywell, Datalogic and others, and on phones.
Scanner apps →

PDF and label designer

Design labels and PDF documents such as pick lists and delivery notes.

How it works
Draw the layout once, connect it to your data and print it from the app.
Advantage
Labels and documents always show the right data, without manual work.
About the label designer →

GPS integration

Use the device's location in the app, for routes, check-ins and deliveries.

How it works
The block reads the position from the device and saves it with the record it belongs to.
Advantage
You know where a job was done, without anyone typing an address.

Indoor positioning

See where people and goods are inside a building, where GPS doesn't reach.

How it works
The Raptool Client uses Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the device's motion sensors to estimate the position indoors.
Advantage
Faster picking and searching in warehouses, hospitals and stores.
About indoor positioning →

Communication

Reach people from inside the app

Email

Send emails when something happens in the app, like a confirmation or a daily report.

How it works
You choose the event and the text, and the block sends the email from the server.
Advantage
Customers and colleagues are kept up to date automatically.

SMS

Send text messages, such as reminders, codes and "your order is ready".

How it works
Like the email block: pick the event and the message, and the block sends the SMS.
Advantage
Messages people actually read, without a separate SMS tool.

Calendar and meeting booking

Book meetings and rooms from the app, connected to the calendars people already use.

How it works
Connects to Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Exchange and Teams) and Google Calendar, with two-way sync for rooms.
Advantage
Bookings show up in everyone's own calendar, with no double bookings.

Running your apps

Devices, updates and projects

Remote device management

Activate, follow and manage every device that runs your apps.

How it works
Devices are activated with a key and show up in one dashboard.
Advantage
You see the whole fleet in one place, without visiting each device.
About Device Manager →

App update and release scheduling

Decide when a new version of an app reaches your users.

How it works
You plan the release, and the devices get the new version at the time you chose.
Advantage
No surprise updates in the middle of a busy shift.

Project management tool

Keep track of the tasks, owners and dates of your app projects.

How it works
Requirements, to-dos and the demo of the app live in one project.
Advantage
Everyone sees what has been built and what's next.

Questions

About blocks

Do I need to write code to use blocks?

No. You add a block by dragging it in or by asking Raptool AI. If you are a developer, you can still open the source and change it.

Which platforms do apps with blocks run on?

Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows and Mac. Blocks that use hardware, such as scanning and printing, work through the Raptool Client.

What happens if my app needs something there is no block for?

Raptool AI builds that part inside the Raptool framework, or our developers build it for you.
