FAQ

Questions? Answers.

Common questions. See all answers, or ask your own.

What is the Raptool AI Development Framework?

It lets you describe the app you need in plain words and builds a real native app on the Raptool platform. The app is connected to your data and ready for your devices.

Are the apps real native apps or web wrappers?

They are real native apps, not web wrappers. They run natively on Android, iOS, Windows and Mac, with full access to scanners, camera and printers.

Where are my app and data hosted?

You can publish your app on Raptool servers or on your own, so you decide where it runs and where the data lives. Raptool sets up and hosts the databases, system integrations and AI connections your app needs.

Can I change an app after the AI has built it?

Yes. Open any app in Raptool Designer and adjust it by drag and drop. Nothing is locked away.

Do I need to know how to code to use Raptool Designer?

No. In No-code mode everything is visual, so anyone on your team can build. If you need more control, Pro mode lets you drill down to the source, and the visual view and the code stay in sync.

Which devices can I publish my app to?

You publish once and the app goes out to Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows and Mac at the same time, with no recompiling for each platform. Your team opens it in the Raptool Client, online or offline.

Can Raptool Designer connect to my ERP?

Yes. Apps can connect to SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Fortnox, Visma and more through the Raptool Integration Server.

Can I build an app with AI and then edit it in Designer?

Yes. You can describe the app to the Raptool AI Development Framework and it builds it for you. You can still fine-tune it in Designer afterwards by drag and drop.
