Overview
When something goes wrong with a product, you need answers fast. Which batch is it? Where did it go? What is still on your shelves? Batch numbers, serial numbers and best-before dates give you those answers. Raptool WMS tracks all three from receiving through shipping. You get traceability you can rely on, calmer recalls and picking that follows the right rule for each product.
Know every batch
Batch or lot numbers group items made together. When you receive goods, you record the batch once. From then on, the system knows where that batch sits and where it went. If a supplier reports a problem, you can find the affected stock quickly instead of searching bin by bin. That saves time when it matters most.

Serial numbers for single items
Some products need to be tracked one by one. Serial numbers let you do that. You can see which exact unit went to which order. That helps with returns, warranty questions and service work. Scanning the serial number at pick and pack keeps the record accurate without extra typing. Your records stay clean from the start.
Recalls without panic
A recall is stressful enough. Searching paper notes makes it worse. With batch and serial data in your WMS, you can see what you received, what you shipped and what remains in stock. You act on facts, and you can tell your customers exactly what is affected. Clear answers build trust.
FEFO picking
FEFO means first expired, first out. Your pickers take the stock with the earliest best-before date, so older goods leave first and less goes to waste. Raptool WMS holds best-before dates per batch and bin, across multiple warehouses. It also connects to your ERP, such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Fortnox or Visma.
